Belidor AI has raised $7.9 million in a Series A round to expand an AI-powered operational intelligence platform built for water treatment facilities.
The financing, announced February 4, 2026, was co-led by T Bridge Venture Partners and 49th Fund. PACA Ventures, Nexenai Capital, and A195 Capital also participated.
Belidor AI, founded by Jerry Hanson, is going after a familiar problem in industrial technology: the data exists, but the decision layer does not. Water facilities produce information through SCADA systems, historians, laboratory testing, spreadsheets, operator rounds, maintenance records, and plant documents. Those sources can tell teams a great deal about performance, but only if they can be connected and interpreted in time to influence operations.
Belidor AI's answer is a unified software layer led by Agent Zed, an AI process engineer that works with a plant's own readings, logs, and documents. Users can ask questions about performance, generate charts, review uploaded data, investigate abnormal conditions, and schedule recurring monitoring or reporting jobs.
The platform also includes digital twins, historical plant audits, dashboards, calculated metrics, alerts, notifications, tasks, procedures, and data integrations. Belidor AI says its connections to plant control data are read-only, so the platform cannot change setpoints or issue commands into the control system.
That distinction matters in water operations, where reliability and operator accountability are critical. Rather than replacing control infrastructure or plant expertise, Belidor AI is positioned as a decision-support layer that helps teams understand what changed, why it matters, and what action to consider next.
The company targets wastewater, drinking water, industrial water, food and beverage, desalination, and water reuse facilities. The new capital gives Belidor AI more room to develop its product, support implementation, and extend its commercial reach across the water sector.
